About Us

Talk About Dying is a project created by Carol Robin, DC, CCN and Jill Dorsi, LCSW. We each draw on over 3 decades of experience in clinical work, teaching and facilitating groups to provide a safe, supportive space for our community to discuss these important issues. Based on both our professional experience and our own personal experiences with death and dying, we believe that it is crucial that people both think about and talk about our ideas, feelings, intentions and end of life choices for ourselves, our families and our communities.

Jill Dorsi is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with over 30 years experience as a practitioner and teacher in recovery, rehabilitation, and self-determination for individuals challenged with homelessness, physical and intellectual disabilities, and behavioral health issues.  She is a partner in national advocacy initiatives that support individuals’ rights to autonomy in  health decisions, employment, and other adult life roles.

Dr. Carol Robin is a holistic Chiropractor, Certified Clinical Nutritionist, Energy healing and Energy Psychology practitioner. She has over 30 years experience in holistic health and teaching guided imagery and consciousness work. She has worked with many people with cancer, surgery and serious illness and is former President of the grassroots non-profit organization Breast Cancer Options.
